Home Inspections in Thurston County

I provide professional home inspections throughout Thurston County, with a focus on Olympia, Lacey, Rochester, Yelm and the surrounding communities.

From established neighborhoods to newer developments and rural properties, I’ll give the home a close look and explain what I find in straightforward terms.

A Mix of Homes and Neighborhoods

The Olympia and Lacey area has everything from established neighborhoods and older homes to newer construction, while areas around Yelm and Rochester include more rural properties and homes on larger lots.

Wherever the property is located, our Western Washington climate makes moisture management, drainage, roofing, siding, crawlspaces and ventilation important parts of the inspection.

A Few Things I Pay Close Attention to Around Thurston County

Our wet winters make drainage and moisture management important. I look at grading, gutters, drainage and visible signs of moisture around the home.

Accessible crawlspaces are checked for visible moisture, damaged materials, insulation concerns and other conditions that may need attention.

New doesn't automatically mean everything was done correctly. Phase and new-construction inspections provide another set of eyes on the home during or after the building process.

Homes outside the more developed areas can come with different property conditions and systems. The inspection is approached with the specific home and site in mind.
